It's approximately 11:47pm the night before I leave. My bags are packed and while I don't really have all that much stuff, it is still considerably more than I've packed for any other single trip in my life. That is exciting because it helps nail home how much larger this trip really is. The down side is that I have to haul it through customs at the airport, from the airport to the Keisei Skyline train to the Nippori station, where I'll switch to the JR Yamate Line, from there I'll go to Otsuka station. This will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Once there I will be greeted by Mr. Mieno, my landlord, with a sign with my name on it. He will take me from there to the building I will be living in. I live on the second floor at the end of the hall. The point is, make sure you can carry what you're packing, further than you'd like to, without killing yourself.
I was asked to call Mr. Mieno when I purchase the Skyline ticket. I'm going to attempt to convey my message in Japanese, but I'm almost guaranteed to stumble over the words and have to convert back to English in order to accomplish the task.

You are so much braver than me. And smarter, because I could barely move my suitcases on my own, lol. You're gonna do great. Let me know when you're there and settled in. Miss you Benjamin.
